This reenactment of the D-Day invasion at Omaha Beach is a production of the Fall 2017 HIS3133 course at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

With the exception of the force commanders, all characters have been created by the students from primary sources. Any resemblances to actual persons are coincidental.

The reenactment consisted of pre-tweeting by just the Allied and German Leadership to establish the historical context for the invasion followed by tweeting of the invasion with all of the groups.

More than a total of 760 tweets were published as part of this reenatment representing the Allied Leadership, the German forces, the Airforce, the Navy, and the Army.
